Info: 1998 A4 1.8T non-Bose w/CD changer.

I added a Rockford Fosgate Punch 45.2 amp and 10" Bazooka already, but now I want more from the rest of the system. I really don't want to change the head since I want a clean and "matching" look with the red display, and would also not like to go overboard on cost by changing too much.

So what are my options? I understand that the head unit should be the same as the Bose system, so perhaps I can get a used Bose amp & speakers.

Second thought is to get an aftermarket amp and speakers, but I'm not sure what I need. I assume I need a 4-channel amp with speaker-level inputs (or line-level inputs and some of those speaker-to-line converters) and 4 speakers. With this option I expect better sound quality than with the bose amp & speakers, but not sure what I should get. I also should get something to "match" the level and quality of the current subwoofer.

Any thoughts?
