An odd problem
Hello all,
I recently had speakers, amp and sub installed in my new-to-me '04 S4 Cab. Prior to the install, the car was super tight, no squeaks, rattles or noises. Now, the car rattles like crazy. (High pitched plastic on plastic.) I had the car back to the installer and they thought they corrected it, but the noise is back.
Any ideas? Solutions?

When I pulled off my door panels, some of the pegs broke...
... if you don't replace them with new ones, then it may lead to rattle.
It's possible that the shop you went to didn't notice, or was too cheap/lazy to replace the pegs that broke, and so you get door rattle.

Re: Rattles at all times when driving, or only with the stereo?
Rattles/squeaks over any imperfection in the road, bumps, etc. The installer ripped it all apart and lined everything with thick velcro to stop the rubbing. Problem still persists. Any recommendations? Ken?
