Stock 00 1.8T stereo. Best setting of the "mid" **** is? Best way to increase bass?
I've got the bass half way b/w mid and max, and the mid just above the half way mark. Is the mid position best?
And bass sucks in this car. What's the first thing I can do?

The best way to increase bass is to get an amplifier and a closed/sealed subwoofer 10"-12" in the trunk.
