Are there MMI file limits on 2014 cars?

Are there MMI file limits on 2014 cars?
Hi All,
My wife and I both have 2014 Audi's. She has a 2014 TT and I have a 2014 S5. Our MMI interfaces look different, so I'm guessing I may have a newer or updated model?
The issue? We both have external SSD drives attached to our cars. Both are loaded with 1,000+ songs.
I rarely update my drive, but my wife is constantly adding more songs. She currently has about 1112 songs. Suddenly, she can no longer see and files past the letter "T" (for example). She seems to be limited to 1,000 songs?
I am at 1,200+ songs with no issues. Can someone verify if some model 2014 MMI systems have song limits?
