Default What is required to remove trim?

I have an 2000 audi a6 2.8 (sedan) and I'm about to undertake a audio upgrade.

What tools are required to remove the trim of the car without damaging it?
Where could they be purchased?

Also are there any install pages that can help with the process of removing the trim work....like where the tabs are(etc.).

Default Plastic putty knives of varying widths

1" 2" and 3" should do it. Any hardware/home supply store should have them. They are magic and dirt cheap.

Do a search for tips on removing trim -- there are plenty of posts that cover this. My sig points to some info under the "IceLink/iPod Integration" link.

Good luck!

Default Stay tuned, I have some info and pics coming from my install sitll in progress.

Also, check zdmak.net or .com for some interior trim removal tools. TeddyBGame posted a link to some Audi removal tools on their site (probably could be used on any car though) for about $23. Picked them up and they work great. I think it comes with 5 pieces and they are all orange. And lots of good posts on here for removing trim in an A6.

Thin wooden spatulas (foor cooking) work well.
