Default Club Audi NSW - Hunter Valley Report

<center><img src="http://www.staffsocial.unsw.edu.au/archiveimages/images/Hunter%20Valley%20Gardens_JPG.jpg"></center><p>Hi all,

Another sensational Weekend for Club Audi NSW Members!

Departing from the historic township of Windsor located on the banks of the Hawkesbury River, the club leisurely made its way north along one of Australia's most famous stretches of Black top - The Putty Road.

The Putty Road is not only famous for having more blood pumping, heart stoping corners than any other road in the state, it also boasts some truly jaw dropping views of the Majestic Hunter Valley.

With all those exciting miles now behind us it was time to relax and make some new friends while sampling some of the finest wine and bear varieties the hunter has to offer at the Blue Tongue Brewery, located on site at the Hunter Resort.

The club also had the opportunity to visit the picturesque Hunter Gardens Estate which is home to some of the finest cheese and chocolate factories in NSW, not to forget the countless number of coffee shops, art galleries and beauty salons in the quaint cobblestone shopping village.

For the adventurous, a heart pounding, whip cracking, trial blazing ride through some of most beautiful and hidden parts of the valley was on offer for members who wanted to experience real horse power.

The day was capped of with an exceptionally first class dinner at the multi award winning San Martino Restaurant, also located on the Hunter Resort Grounds.

Special thanks to the staff at the Hunter Resort, the Hunter Gardens, Pokolbin Horse Trail Rides and the San Martino Restaurant for their services and assistance.

If this years events are anything to go by, you can not afford to miss our Snowy Mountains weekend event next month. Places are limited so get in fast.

Regads,
