A colleague's experience with Pedders....
...seems to confirm most of that.
The worrying thing is that he was referred to a particular Pedders branch by the Audi Dealer in SA, and told that they were very good.
He had his 1995 A4 lowered (back then A4s came with very high ride height) and specifically asked for progressive rate springs. When he got the car back, the ride was as rough as guts, way too firm. When he questioned it, he was told they didn't fit progressive rate springs because he didn't ask for that.
Basically the suspension - Pedders own brand - was such crap he had to chuck it out, and had Koni springs and shocks fitted elsewhere.
And yes, the same dealer is STILL recommending the same Pedders branch!
