PWR performance in Brisbane..
They havent put the liquid/air intercooler stuff up on their website yet, but i have received a fax with specs and pricing.
Its at work so ill post the prices tomorrow.
They are a unique barrel heat exchanger design available in 2 different outside and inside diameters. 3"outer 2 1/4" in/out and 4"outer 3" in/out.
Lengths i cant remember exactly but there were about 4 different lengths for each diameter from 6" to 12" i think. The idea being to match the size to the HP and space requirements.
Then they have a few different sized radiators for the liquid cooling. They are smallish, about the size of the audi factory intercoolers but thinner, so should fit just about anywhere.
The kits include pumps but not the interconnecting piping which you would need to get custom.
They have a 7sec Madza rotary drag car in the US that uses these intercoolers. So i believe this design works...
They are radiator/intercooler specialists. So thats sold me!
As soon as ive got ontop of a couple of bills, im ordering a pair for the S4.

http://www.pwr.com.au</a

Thats a complete tested kit.......
Anyone can buy an intercooler & spend as much time & money they like on plumbing with "possible" results...
Each to their own, I will stick with the "known" result..

http://www.ozaudi.com</a

I agree with Guy on this....
A complete tested kit is much more desireable as the benefits are proven - however 2.5K for a FMIC is still ridiculous - even if it is proven and tested. Additionally, with the Aussie dollar at nearly 62 US cents I see no reason why APR's new Intercooler (at $990 US dollars)should not be around the $1500 - $1800 Australian. The current Aussie asking price of 2.5K seems - not to put to fine a point on it - "obscene".

Expected prices...
Still depends on shipping - (& duty)
We are trying to put together a container order to get in the exhausts & the hardware in at reduced shipping - also what to call the intercooler to avoid a possible 50% duty tax (if you add that into the calculation, you can see the hassle...)It is also a fairly large box with the single piece mandrel tubing & silcon hose set.
So dont panic too much about price until we can land some (first shipment is pre sold already - waiting on delivery - demand is high!)
Also do't forget the OZAUDI users discount!
