3M IHG then Klasse Sealant Glaze (NOT AIO) then Carnuba?
My car is virtually brand new (under 1000 miles), but has some very fine hairline scratches. I'd like to make them go away and was thinking I'd use the products I listed above.
3M IHG to remove the swirls. Then Klasse Glaze to seal it. And lastly, use Carnuba for some depth.
Sound like a good idea?
I know everyone has their own brand preference, but I just wanna know if I have the right idea. Of course, feel free to give input on what you do, but I need an answer to my original question first!
FYI, I do not use that bottle of Armor-All car wash soap (in the pic) on my car!!!! That's for washing the 'ol '95 chevy suburban :-P

Good luck getting swirls out with that. I heard thats more of a finishing polish. I suggest Autoglym's Super Resin Polish. The BEST on Hard Audi Clearcoats and other euro coats. If it doesn't get the swirls out try the Autoglym then go back to the 3m always end using a finish polish or light polish. I highly suggest using AIO because it cleans the paint, fills scratches, and helps carnuba and sealents bond better. You deffenitely need to clay first. You have to clean the paint before polishing. You'll just spread the dirt around and you'll get not so good results and maybe create more swirls. I suggest clay, sonus paint cleaner, aio, your 3m, SG then carnuba. Clean paint is what gives you that great shine.

Klasse SG is high in solvent
which will interfere with IHG...
I think 1)clay(claymagic) 2)3M Swirl Mark Remover (to remove the hairline scratches) 3)paint cleanser (P21S or Sonus) 4) wax/sealant...

Hmmm..... I'm going have to disagree on the Clay Bar
The car does not need claybar at this point. Trust me. It has less than 1000 miles on it. There is nothing to remove at this point and it would be a wasted step. A car with a couple thousand and lots of crap stuck to the finish: of course. But the paint is very clean and free of contamination right now.
As far as the IHG and swirls, I don't have swirl marks. It's more subtle than that. However, the AIO doesn't seem to do anything to them.
When the car had only 50 miles on it, I only did a coat of AIO. The AIO doesn't work for scratches in my opinion. That's why I'm thinking IHG would be a better solution. I don't want to get too agressive on new paint, especially when the fine scratches are so difficult to see in the first place.
Normally, I would do the whole process you stated above, but it's not necessary on a new car. Clay + paint cleaner are wasted if the paint doesn't have contamination in the first place.
I guess I'm agreeing with your general methodology, but not for this particular application.

3M IHG will only hide your swirls... more inside
If anything you should use the Klasse first, this will clean the paint and leave a base for IHG since Klasse has no fillers, then you should top with a wax in order to keep the fillers from IHG in place. If you like you can get some 3M SMR which will remove the scratches in place of IHG. I would suggest though to buy some Menzerna Final polish for a BMW finish, it will work that much better and then follow-up with a good wax or sealant. I would also buy a porter cable either 7424 for 7336 if you dont already have one.
