Bird dropping with mulberries.... (I did STFA)
Looking for solution to removing three stains on my hood from bird dropping with mulberries in them. (OUCH!) They sat on the hood of my 2001 Blk S4 for about 4 hours in the late day. I did search the archives - couple of solutions out there. Used the Meguiar's detailer spray and tried the step one Maguiar's swirl remover. Still have etching. Again this morning detailer spray. Not happy :-(... Any other suggestions - what is the One grand all about?

"What is the One Grand all about"?
Special Touch is a non-abrasive chemical cleaner. I've used it to remove water marks, bird crap etching, paint from other cars that's been scraped onto the bumpers of my cars, paint from the frame of the garage door where my wife scraped up against it, unidentified spots and stains...in other words, it's become my all-purpose fixer. I've never done the whole car with it, although it could be used that way too; I just use it on trouble spots, including minor scratches which it helps reduce. Then I follow with Omega Glaze and Blitz wax.
IMO this is a product worth having on the shelf. It can't hurt, could be the cure, and will always come in handy for the next problem that arises. Carcareonline.com, autosupermart.com and onegrand.com sell it.
I apply it by hand with a closed-cell foam pad. Medium pressure. It can take a few minutes of patient rubbing, with repeated applications of a small amount of product.
I've mentioned this product so many times, I'm wondering if anyone else has tried it and, if so, what they think about it. I'm a bit self-conscious at this point about always being a cheerleader.

I agree, Special Touch works quite well.
A bird family nested in my carport and my wife won't let me shoo them off. Needless to say, I have a great deal of experience with Special Touch and bird poo.

One trick I've heard
wash the area, then almost dry. Then apply some straight undiluted car wash liquid (like my fave P21S) directly onto the sites and let sit for a while before rewashing the area.
Might help. The rule is to always try the gentlest stuff first, maybe even a few times, before bringing out the WMD.
