Default Calling A4 4Me, look at this Blitz picture.

I did a quick wax job today. I applied the 1 Grand mostly with a Porter Cable 7424. I just smeared and rubbed wax under the door latch with my finger. I paritally buffed off the wax so you could get an idea how thick to get the wax.

When I looked at the car I could almost see right through the dry wax and the area under the door latch was pretty much solid white. Some areas in the picture have the wax buffed off for comparison.

When I buffed the wax off there was hardly any dust at all, just wax in the towel.

Hope this helps.

Default Just so happens, I'm right here!

Thx for the photo - it does help. I've been applying it not as thick as beneath the door latch in your photo, but not as thin as elsewhere - so I think I'm definitely using too much. Like I said, I'm going to put on another coat for grins & giggles in a couple days, I'll let you all know how it goes.

Default Yup, I apply mine with a little palm puffer and foam bonnet. There's virtually no dust upon

removal, and no wasted wax.
