Can I use the same detailing supplies on a 'vette that I use on my Audi(m)?
I just wanted to make sure that none of the chemicals I use on my Audi will harm domestic paint, leather or plastics. This is my future father-in-law's car, so I want to make sure before I touch it. I know to test the products on an inconspicuous area, but are there are any big no-nos to avoid? I'd rather know about them before I even try to test.
I can provide a list of the supplies I plan to use, but all of them are pretty much top 1 or 2 products in their class according the the posts on here. P21S wax, GEPC, and One Grand ERV are examples. The car is garage kept, but has never had a full detail like I do with my A4.
If any of the Corvette owners on here care to share their routines or tips, I'd appreciate that, too.

Re: Paint stuff will be fine, the only thing to be carefull with is the leather, esp. if light color
Thanks for the reply.
The leather is black. I was going to focus more on the outside than the interior. The car only has 2600 miles on it and is more dirty from being in the garage than from the road.
I may not even do the seats. I'll have to look at them closer when I decide to do it to see if they even need cleaned. I use Lexol for cleaning and conditioning my leather seats and would plan on using the same for the vette seats.

You should be fine w/your products. On the interior, at least
do the leather seats, as they are quite prone to cracking. Other than that, I don't remember anything special I worried about on my 99 Corvette Convertible.

Just remember you're dealing with a glass car
so some different techniques may be in order, even if the materials stay the same.
