Cleaning up the lip on a set of wheels (mothers mag or mothers billet or ?)
bought a set of used wheels, not taken care of very well...the polished lip on them has some stains etc. Just wondering what I should use to get them back to looking new ?
I STFA and came up with mothers mag + mothers billet polish with the latter being less abrasive ?
What would everyone recommend ? Just being extra careful, don't want to mess them up.

Heh...not really sure...
I sold my fikse's to a local. I want to clean up the polished lips a bit, however I don't want to use anything abrasive. I know the Mother's Mag Polish is abrasive, so I'll try Eagle One wadding cloth, and follow with Wheel Wax. Hopefully that will clean them up. If not, I'll hand them to the new owner with a can of Mother's and let him take the gamble. The wheels themselves are in good shape...just a little bit of gunk that needs to be polished off.

I just bought a container of the Mothers Billet Polish- - ->
I have to say, I don't like it. Once applied it to the polished lip on my billet Kinesis wheels and takes forever to remove it. It seems even a smallest amount of polish spreads ultra thin and removal is a horror, no matter what type of cloth I used (flannel, cotton, MF).
I prefer Luster pads followed up with a buff with flannel cloth and a coat of wax. I am going to try Wheel Wax soon. For now I use Blitz.
