Relatively new 2005 A4 1.8T Ultrasport...sometime show car..project car for Audiworld...I move yesterday..park my car in the sun at UHaul when I rent the truck ...92-95 degrees....come back and find hard water marks all over the car..sprinkler attacked my car during the blazing heat...after moving all day...this the last thing I wanted to se...YES, even though I was exhausted..I washed the car at 8pm last night.

So, last night at my new place right before I fall asleep at 11:30pm..I hear sprinklers...just as I am dosing off...and an image comes to mind...picture this...required parking spot that I "HAVE TO" park in...my garage is full of boxes so that is out. I get in trouble if I park in visitor parking spots...

Of course..when I come out to my car this morning at 7am...sure enough...sprinklers sprayed non-potable water on my car...made my nice new finish all messed up again. I gotta get the garage situated ASAP and park in there. What a total pain in the ****.

What is the best for hard water marks these days..I haven't had to deal with this recently..so I am wondering what the latest miracle fix is. Thanks.

And stuffed my car in it..I didn't want yet another nights worth of hard water spots...

Looks like this weekend is reorganize the garage storage so that I can easily park the car in there. Nice getting a workable garage again.

Gotta fix the finish on the car though..looks nasty right now.

If you have water spots on the windows, the Diamondite system works very well, but needs a lot of elbow grease for the spray clay.

I had a bit of the same problem and washed and spray detailed the car today.

i was able to get 80% of them out with just using the quick detailer spray (4-star). The other ones came out when i put another coat of polish (4-star) on a week later. I get water spots everytime i wash my car because our water is so hard here, and i am too cheap to buy a softener system.
