Why aren't the bumpers (on the silver car) the same color as the car?

Default It's common with audi silvers.

I think it has to do with the angle of the bumper changes significantly at that line. Creating an even deeper shadow. highlighting the slightly different shades of the bumper and body panel.

In direct sunlite that goes away. Every b6/b5 with painted lowers in silver i have seen has this.

Including my silver usp.

Default My RS6 is like that as well in certain angles it doesn't match but

its not as obvious unless you stare at it long enough.
