Default A drying tool for the mobile detailer..>

Just wanted to share my experience with a new tool that might be of value to some. I used this Makita electric blower over the weekend to blow some polish dust off a convertible top and clean out the door sills, it worked very well for a tiny handheld blower. I was thinking it would be really nice for drying also. It doesn't have the power of a large gas blower, but it is small enough that it won't take up too much space in the TT when I go do a detail job. Thay make an 18 volt battery model, but I would rather not deal with batteries and chargers.

http://www.amazon.com/Makita-UB1101-Blower/dp/B0000614UX</a

Hmm, for the price it isn't worth it for me. Rather just sheet rinse and waffle weave dry.

Default Seems over-priced to me.

Like EuroAddict, I prefer to just use a WW, but IF i were to try a leaf blower, I'd consider this and spend the remaining $150+ on detailing supplies.
