Default Embedded brake dust - what to use??

I've tried everything to remove this stuff on the inside of my wheel. I even resorted to wheel acid and steel wool. Anything else I should try??

Default I had good luck with the pummice hand cleaners on my Benz wheels.

it's gritty and has nice gunk dissolvers. Lol...

Default That discoloration looks like it's best addressed with a strong cleaner or solvent.

The little black bits can be addressed with a claybar, but the claybar will usually not touch any discoloration.

I've used kaboom bathroom cleaner to remove brown deposits on the winter wheels at the end of the season, and that worked well. Let it sit for a few minutes, rub it around, and then wash and rinse. Repeat as needed, unless subsequent cleanings don't seem to improve the condition of the wheel.

Default If the acid didn't take it off I don't know what will.

Let the acid dwell for about a minute while scrubbing it with a stiff bristled toothbrush. Obviously seal it after that.
