Default Found a great product for cleaning/treating leatherette....

Lots of people had recommended Lexol Vinylex, so I tried it......
Works great on rubber door sills, door trim, wipers, etc., but I found it too shiny for the dash and too slippery for the leatherette.
I even tried using it more sparingly and buffing out, but found it more trouble to try to apply evenly.

Well, I tried Pinnacle Vinyl and Rubber Protectant last night. WOW!!!!!
This stuff was rated as low gloss, which I was looking for, and boy were they right.
You can slather this stuff all over the leatherette seating surfaces and the dash. Somehow it magically absorbs and leaves very little shine.......just a rich lustre.

I couldn't believe the difference!!
It made the leatherette seats seem more like real leather. Rather than become slippery, they actually became more grippy, even a little squeaky as you moved in them.

Great stuff! Highly recommended!
With a pleasant smell too!

Found it at www.properautocare.com

Default Hmmmm, it's been a while since I've ordered any detailing products for the car.

Well, 6 weeks...if you consider that a long time.

Default Yeah, but damn $20 a bottle is a bit over the top for vinyl spray. 303 is also low gloss at only

$12.50 a bottle. Seems a lot more reasonable.

Default I thought so too at first........don't knock it till you try it, though.

I was definitely impressed (of course I should have been at that price).

Default Their Leather Conditioner is the best I've ever tried...

I've tried the Lexol, as well as Connolly Hide Food. The Connolly smelled like a cow just took a s**t in my car. The Lexol was better, but the Pinnacle really has a leather smell to it. I've also used it on the leather in my house, my wife uses it on her leather purses (they HAVE to smell like leather you knooow!). It is absolutely the best.

I'd also recommend trying Harly Poly Guard. Very nice product indeed.
