How about cranberry juice out of gray carpet
fortunately this is in my wifes grand caravan and not my audi (there is a no eating/drinking policy in effect in the audi)
I can't come up with anything to take out the pink color. Hoping to trade this monster in this summer. am contemplating dilute bleach...

Griot's interior cleaner?
I'm not sure if it will handle juice stains, but it removed a grease stain from my upholstery. The stain had been there for month, and I didn't think there was any hope...yet in 15 seconds, it was gone!

Mother's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner works well. But the best thing I've used....
....is a Bissell carpet cleaning machine that heats water, mixes it with detergent (or you can use plain water), sprays it on the carpet and then sucks it up. We have an upright with hand-held attachments that include a powered brush. If you have kids, these machines are well worth the price. It does a fabulous job on car floor mats and interior carpeting. And it truly cleans the carpeting -- much better than anything you can get out of a spray bottle. My wife's been hauling two kids in her car for over 4 years now, but you'd never know it from the carpeting. They come in portable and canister models, too.

Are the hand held attachments small enough to get into the corners, nooks and crannies?
Or do you find yourself doing the large flat areas and floor mats with the machine and going back to do the corners and other tight areas with a "spray and wipe" type product?
I'm mostly curious. Right now I keep the all weather mats in the car year round, because I don't really know of a good way to deal with carpet cleaning. I use spray 'n wipe products for spot cleaning, but for a general all purpose cleaning, I agree, you need a machine to suck the filth out of the carpets.

Not the really narrow areas, like down between front seat and door sill....but otherwise they work.
The smallest hand-held attachment on the Bissell machine is like the small brush attachment you'd find on a vacuum cleaner. However, there are some areas where only a thin "crevice" tool on a vacuum cleaner will reach, and those areas can't be reached by the Bissell machine attachments. But the heavy dirt accumulations in the carpet from feet, etc., where wet cleaning is needed, typically aren't down in those crevices anyway.

P21S Total Auto Wash. It's a citrus based degreeser that also can be used on the interior carpets
and headliner.

P21S Total Auto Wash

Thanks Rick!
I was looking around, and I liked the Little Green Clean Machine with the solvent heater and rotating scrub brush. It's only $99, and very portable, so I can do stairs, the car, and other "spot clean ups". Great little gadget...it's on my spring list of detailing products to get! :-) Thanks a bunch!
