Lease turn in inspection
This is my first lease. Turn in is at the end of the month, and I just made an appointment for an inspection.
My question is should I detail the car? How much attention should I give it? Quick wash and vaccum the interior? Or a deeper detail?
What is your experience with lease turn in?
On on another note, my new S4 should be arriving any day at the dealership, but I won’t be picking it up until after I return from vacation at the end of the month. Getting very excited!

no need to even clean it frankly
Just make sure all the accessory stuff is in the car (owners manual for example) and you have all the keys
any significant damage to anything?

Agree with SCarGuy... No need to detail. Normal wear and tear is fine. I've had my car inspected in the dead of winter (Chicago) covered in grime with no issues

No damage in or out, but a couple of chips on the hood, and a light scratch from an ice scraper on the upper corner of the hood.
Sounds like I should be ok.

yep you should be fine, especially with a new car on order. Enjoy it!
