Default Leather Ceramic Coating

Has anyone had experience with the leather ceramic coatings that are available now? Found out that many German cars have had issues with color loss from their leather seats. My Atlas Beige leather driver seat has worn the color off in places, so I recently had the seat re-dyed. Wondering if the ceramic leather coatings are safe and will protect the leather without removing any dye color. Thanks!

Never heard of the product, but it sounds like a great idea. I just replaced the seating area on my drivers seat because I have ocd.

Kevin,

What was wrong with the seating area? Color faded or leather just too worn out looking?

Cost?

I have the ventilated seats and one of the seams was starting to let go. In defense of the car it has 94k and I could lose a few pounds.

Yes. They replaced the bottom seat cushion cover. It took about 6 weeks to have the part shipped from Audi of Germany. But once it arrived the install was quick.

Aha, was this covered by Audi's warranty?
