need a portable vacuum
i was thinking about buying the Dyson DC16 Root 6 Handheld.
but im curious if there is a decent portable vacuum i can plug into the lighter.. i rather not spend over $125-$150 anyone have suggestions?

not so portable, but the best thing i did was to buy a shop vac for the house...
originally got it because i had a flood that needed to be cleaned up. now i use it on everything and anything in the house, but it also works great in the car. more powerful than the vacs at a carwash and better attachments to get in those hard to reach places. best $65 i ever spent.

3rd, and you might be able to get away with a power inverter if you don't have a nearby AC source...
but then again, you might blow the fuse.
Dewalt does make a cordless vac that will likely be better than any 12V DC vac. I thought I remember someone here posting favorable reviews on that. You're paying a price for that convenience though. A $50 AC powered vac could easy accomplish the same.
