I've searched, and see no discussion of painting interior trim...I'm thinking about painting the aluminum trim in a B7 A4, perhaps a light, complementing goldish metallic color for the beige interior.

Can it be done?
Has anyone ever done?
Should it be done (a matter of taste)?

never seen it in an audi but a friend of mine tried it in his f150, didnt work out too well, he decided to buy new inserts instead
