Default

polish wax? Get some hand specific polish and apply with a terry cloth in straight lines

Default work your way up the abrasives...

Start with something mild,
like 3M Imperial Hand Glaze

then move to 3M Perfect it -> 3M Perfect it II -> finally, if none of that works, use a rubbing compound.

Be careful with the compound, as it is almost as abrasive as some sandpaper.

After getting it off, go over it again with 3M Perfect it, and the IHG to smooth out any scratches / hazing in the paint.
