Simple Green on Bugs.. how much are you diluting it before applying to the bugs?
#3
I would start with 1:5 and see how that works...
If one or two applications doesn't do it...increase dilution to 1:3 (pretty strong). As phred said...you'll need to rewax everytime you apply simple green.

also use quick detail sometimes, but Orange Clean works pretty well too
the same stuff you get from Home Depot or Bed bath and beyond for $3-$4 a bottle. It works great for the windshield too (with paper towel, no point in gumming up a towel), but for that, gotta follow up with a little spritz of plain ol' h20 with a terry cloth to avoid streaks.

It doesn't really...
Super Glaze has a milky consistency similar to instant detailer. It has a petroleum products in it that will dissolve bug guts and other "light" contaminants on the paint, but no abrasives to scratch your paint. It dries very quickly, leaving behind a thin layer of wax. It buffs off easily, and doesn't stain black trim. It also contains something that hides swirls in the paint, but that effect is temporary. You'll see the swirls immediately after the next car wash.
The real problem with it is it's not a suitable "wax", since it won't really last more than 2-3 weeks or a few car washes. So when you're done with Super Glaze, it will have stripped all previous layers of wax, and you really should apply a quality wax on top, when you're done.
As a mild cleaning agent, it's a good suggestion though. Imagine something easier to work with than GEPC...Super Glaze is it!
BTW Matt, I've got a couple bottles lying around. I used to use this stuff exclusively on my old Integra. Ever since I got the Audi's, I've started using "boutique-y" products, and this stuff just gathers dust. If you want me to send you one so you can try it out, drop me a line with your mailing address, and I'll put it in the mail when i have time.
For anyone else reading this...you can pick this stuff up at your local pep boys for about $10 for a 16 oz bottle.
