Is there a shelf life for polish, wax, ect?

the other day I opened up some leather conditioner
I hadn't used in a few years and applied to some shoes. I should have checked it out first, it had spoiled and it was not a pleasant smell.
Had to Lexol clean and condition the next day.

Re: I believe once the pastes or liquids seperate its time to chuck them out !!
Sealants will last up to 3-years (Zanio) wax a lot longer (I've used a wax that I'd had for 5+ years and it was fine)
Storage Ideal 70-90 oF, do not subject them to extremes of temp (ie freezing / 100+oF will harm them)
