Paint has been on for 2 1/2 weeks. This is my first car and will be my first time waxing. (more)
What is a good wax that I can get locally? Any special washing/waxing suggestions?

ask your body shop.......
how long you should wait before waxing. some paints require two months before they recommend a protective layer. you want to make sure that all of the volatile solvents are out of the paint. if they heat baked the paint (often done with bumpers)you can do it in a month. they usually suggest two months.
