Default Tire Shine Dealer dressing

When I picked up my 2018 SB, the tires look brilliant. I asked my salesman If I could purchased the tire product and he didn't give me a definitive answer. I went to the parts department and they sold Audi products, but probably not the same product they use when detailing cars. Any thoughts or product to get a similar dealer look on my tires? I have heard some say to spray directly on tire and not to wipe.

Thanks
CC

CC, there are an awful lot of tire shine products out there. If you are looking for high gloss and a decent life time, look at Meguiar's Edurance product. It's available as a spray or gel. Found at W*mart for short $$$.

As mentioned before, there are a lot of products on the market that can bring your tires to a shine. Black Magic’s Tire Wet is available in most stores and adds a nice gloss to the tire. I personally use Zaino’s Perfect Tire Gloss which glosses the tire nicely without a “greasy” look. One tip on applying tire dressing is to spray the solution on a sponge and rub it around the tire. This makes for an even application and prevents overspray. You can layer the dressing for more gloss, just allow for proper drying time in between coats. (I use two coats of Zaino.)

Hope me this helps and good luck!

Definitely use an applicator. No way to spray on evenly without then having to clean the wheels. Have had good success with Black Magic and Zaino as well. My issue is how to apply to 275/30/20's evenly, as the part of the tire carrying the weight of the car almost disappears. End up getting on the garage floor.

Really wish I had the 19's, but with the new RS5's, no choices.
