Hey Guys,

The Goo Gone proved to be worthless. In addition to the high pressure wash at a local station.

Is it safe to use a higher PSI on the wheel wells? I would like to remove the residual after 6 months.

Cheers.

Probably going to have to take your tires and wheel well liners off to do a proper job. But yes, a higher psi pressure washer is fine. Just don't use the jet spray, you'll cut right through those liners, lol...

Thanks! Can you please confirm a safe PSI for the job? I assume the jet spray is an adjustment on the nozzle.

Cheers.

Personally, i have a 3500psi gas powered pressure washer that i wash my vehicle with as well as cleaning the siding, cement, driveway, etc... It has multiple, removable tips to adjust the size of the spray from a jet tip (single stream) to a cleaner tip (narrow fan spray) to a wash tip (wide fan spray) and so on.

I would use the cleaner tip if I were trying to remove what you have described. 3500psi is plenty powerful enough to get the job done. Honestly, you probably could get it done with a 2000-2500psi pressure washer.

There are pressure washer wands that are all in one adjustable rotatation heads with a single tip. But, honestly they don't do a great job. They usually come with the lesser expensive pressure washers.

Im not sure what you have, but for your job you would want to find a wand that has removable tips like i described.

Sounds good - I am trying to avoid outsourcing. I appreciate the detailed response!!
