Video: NEW CarPro CQuartz Lite : EASY TO APPLY DIY ceramic coating!
Hi guys!
This week, I bring you a brand new easy to apply DIY ceramic coating from CarPro! It's called CQuartz LITE.
- should last 6+ months
- only 4 hours curing time
- no flashing time, you apply and buff off (level the coating) immediately
- can be used as a stand alone product or as a topper for existing coatings
- can be layered (2 or 3 layers recommended)
- based on CQUK 3.0 technology, and Lite has 45% Sio2/Tio2 content
- one of the easiest true ceramic coatings to apply
- comes in a 150 ml bottle (5oz) for $45 USD (very economical)
In my video, I present the product, and show you all the steps to properly apply it and you will see the final results, plus we'll do a hydrophobic properties test.
Enjoy the video!

Pan, I'm sure this will be another great offering from them, but isn't it essentially the same price as CQuartz UK?

The Lite kit is 54.99$ USD (150ml) (depending where you look) and a CQUK 3.0 kit (50ml) is 74.99$ USD on average.
So Lite is waaaaay cheaper if you factor in the Lite bottle is 150ml. You get three times more product than UK 3.0, for 20$ USD less.
So it's two products meant for two different types of people.

Got it. Thanks. I didn't realize the 3.0 version was priced that high.

I don't think so. Reload only has 5% SiO2 and this has 45% (approx numbers)
That means the Lite will have a harder shell and probably last longer
I used Reload as a maintenance product for my cars with CQuartz Pro coating

how do u use reload without it streaking? I have CQUK 3.0 on my car and tried using reload as a topper. It streaks like there’s no tomorrow. I followed the methods mentioned on various detailing forums and YouTube and stuff and no luck.

My A7 is Black and has CQuartz Pro on it. I use Reload once a month and don't have any issues with streaking. Make sure you have the latest formula as CarPro changed the formula a year or 2 ago to reduce streaks. Also I have very plush microfiber towels that I only use with Reload and then wash right after using with a microfiber wash. Point being I want the towels to be very clean to prevent streaks.
I spray on the Reload directly on the car (light mist) then wipe with one of the towels. Then do a final wipe with another towel that is clean. I kept rotating the towels, but after finished I probably use 6-8 towels
Hope that helps
