What are the advantages of getting the PC 7424 as opposed to the PC 7336?

Basically the same thing.
7336 comes with a 6" counterweight. 7424 comes with a 5" counterweight. Most people here end up buying the 6" counterweight for the 7424 because the popular pads are 6" and larger. If you can get a deal on either than go for it.
