Default Wheel pulling is for the birds! Blackfire gel wheel & tire cleaner + 303 Aerospace Protectant

I'm still not sure where I'm supposed to put the floor jack and be able to fit a stand nearby...anyway, here are some pics...btw, the wheels and tires have 30k miles on them.

Yes, I know the car's dirty. It's been a typically lovely New England weekend :/

Driver's side picture to function as pre-cleaning example:

Passenger side, a.k.a. 'clean' side:

I'll be doing this for real when I'm swapping winter/summer wheels, but otherwise I think I can get a close-enough result for my taste with the wheels still on the car.

Comments/tips welcome.

Looking good, but why not spray the wheel well liner while you're at it?

Default Absolutely, this was more a tryout than anything.

I wanted to get a sense of how much effort and time it takes to take a wheel off this car.
I had read before how some take the wheels off to clean them as part of their regular details and I was curious to see if there'd be a noticeable difference that was worth the effort.

Also, I'm getting new rims and tires for winter and I thought it would be a good opportunity to check out the process...I'm seriously stumped as to where I'm supposed to place the jack stand up front while I'm already using the lifting point with the floor jack.

I'll post pics when the thorough detail is done as part of my winter prep. I'll definitely clean all the stocks before I put them away 'til spring.

Thanks for the encouragement.

p.s. I just had to try my new ShMITT too!
