Meg's Gold Class Shampoo
2 MF Wash Mitts (one for body + one for wheels)
Waffle Weave Drying Towel
Meg's Clay Bar with PLENTY of Quick Detailer
1Z Einszett Glanz Wax (2 coats)
1Z Einszett Vinyl-Rubber Care + Protectant (on exterior vinyl and tires)
Eagle One 20/20 Auto Glass Cleaner
Meg's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 (on the wheels)

My first experience with 1Z products. Extremely pleased. The wax was a bit difficult to remove but the final result... looks and feels so very sleek. The Vinyl-Rubber Care makes black blacker without leaving that oily gloss.

Hey Phil, thanks for those extra MF towels!

https://forums.audiworld.com/a5/msgs/41215.phtml</a

Default good products....may i add one process?

do a polish before you do your wax. that will clean up anything from the clay process.

what you did is a good fall/winter prep. in the spring you can clay, polish (1Z PP is great) then follow with Glanz.

the difficulty removing glanz is that you may have let it set too long.

nice work!

Default thanks for your comment... I knew it was coming

i decided to go without polishing... first of, the car is just a couple of months old and I thought it is to early to polish (I was EXTRA careful with clay not to cause any damage... and I think it worked out all right). second, I don't own a flex or PC. so I saved polishing for the spring. What I wanted was to give it a good winter prep (as you pointed out) before the weather gets nasty.

Default Looks great!! If you like the 1Z wax, you should give the 1Z Perls or Glanz

washes a try - both are very good (the Glanz wash seems to suds up more than the Perls).

Default you'll be fine with Glanz...excellent stuff that lasts

if you can, get a PC and it will make your life easy, and your car will look even better.

good job!
