Hey guys I have a 05 A6 4.2 with the parking brake light on, im currently saving up to have the pistons replaced, but i was wondering if i could drive without the parking brake motors on the calipers. Would it affect anything like driving wise? any info would be awsome. Just to be clear im talking about the electric parking brake motors, not the actual calipers themselves.

So I’ve had both my electronic parking brake moters removed for a coupe months now and the car drives fine no issues obvious no parking brake and there’s gonna be a yellow warning light coupled with a red flashing parking brake light the main issue I find tho is every time you take off from a complete stop a loud beeping and parking brake engaged warning comes on fortunately there’s a button on my steering wheel that turns it off be it as it may it’s still very annoying. Does anyone know how to get clear the code or something so the beeping and warning lights will go away
