Audi A8 D3 4.2 FSI Brakes issue
Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first time posting on here after being suggested this forum from someone from a YouTube comment.
I have purchased a A8 D3 4.2 FSI. It was parked for 7-8 months. It looks like my rear brakes pads are either finished or are binding on the discs. I have the park brake light flashing on the dash and when I apply the handbrake, I can hear the sound of a motor on the rear passenger wheel that lasts for 2-5 seconds. I got this car quite cheap and i didn't know the extortionate costs for repairs at the time but I dont really want to take it to a dealer and get the brake discs, pads and brake calipers replaced as that would work out to more than what I paid for the car. I was wondering if a brake clean spray would help or if anyone knows of a good reputable mechanic in the north west are of England, somewhere in Lancashire or Manchester area who is quite good with these cars
