Default Too many pads...too little solid info

When I replace the pads on my stock 3.2 braking system, what are the benefits of these different ones available? The car has good brakes (13" 4 piston fronts) and the car is mostly used on the street with some HPDE's (just starting those).

1. Axxis Ultimate
2. Porterfields
3. Mintex Red
4. Pagid's
5. EBC
6. Good old stock (free) Audi pads.

Thanks for the info.

Default Here's my opinion of 10 different pads on an S8.

Even I'm surprised that I've gone thru this many different pads in only four years.

A8/S8 forum x-post

Default I agree with your review of the Axxis Ultimates (my streets F/R) and Pagid Orange (my track pads).

I use Hawk HP+ in the rears for the track.

I'd like to try the Pagid Blacks or Hawk HT10s for the track next.
