My '08 TTR has developed squealing brakes, more pronounced in cold weather. I understand this is a common problem on this car, as well as other Audis. There's a rumor that Audi will offer some type of composite pad as a replacement for the OEM pads, but I've not gotten any official notice on that, or seen a TSB for it. My dealer will roughen up the pads and apply some anti-squeal compound when I go in next week, which I hear has cleared up the problem on some cars. Anyone know what's going on with this issue??
