My brother totalled his A4 2.8Q in Vermont when he was visiting me in Boston. Quattro definitely couldn't do anything to help his All Season tires stop/steer on a downhill bend when -15C.

Anyhow, he's moved on to a Lexus IS300 and since IS300.net doesn't allow posts/searches without going through their initiation rite, I thought I'd tap into the enthusiasts that know who's available/good in Ottawa.

Any suggestions?

(the accident goes as follows...
1. it's cold, and it snowed a few inches.
2. crested over a hill in the ski country area of VT. I87.
3. accident spotted on the right side of the 2 lane highway.
4. try to stop and go around on the left.
5. notice that there's a bend in the hwy to the right
6. car loses stability and floats
7. car won't slow down, and car won't steer. Tires not contacting any asphalt.
8. car goes off highway...
9. car slides up and along a 1' tall rock curb/wall
10. car eventually goes into a ditch and rolls.
11. only passenger door could be kicked open.
12. get out, and notice all the parts and fluids leaking.
13. try to get away from car in case it's gas.
14. notice more cars losing control and doing similar thing.
15. eventually ambulance gets there for another car.. and someone rear ends the ambulance.

chaos. Get winter tires... A/S tires don't cut it.
