There was a good post on why things can't react quickly enough and such, can't remember where that link is but gave me a better understanding of the larger picture.
While things should be cheaper as our dollar is over par now vs the US, there's other things that hurts us also such as labour costs so that's one point to consider, especially when labour costs are always being benchmarked against the US dollar (which by the way really sucks right now for folks in a global services company).

If they did normalize prices ever year, you'd be pissed off.
Suppose you paid $120k for a shiny new S6 only to have it worth $90k new 1 year later.
