It's gonna be a shame to add the weight of a roll cage... but you'll need one.

Default Mine is at 2777lbs now

Though, I suspect the 90q was lighter to begin with.

Lexan? Gutted doors? Yup.

Keep in mind there is a TONNE of weight in the tar sheets on your floor boards, and in the undercoating under the car. I'll be weighing my factory 90q to compare it to my rally car tomorrow...should give me an idea on how much I've lost. I'm at 2777lbs, and I still have yet to remove the undercoating and half the tar inside the car.

My next shell will be under 2600lbs, easy.

Default once you've got a roll-cage in

there isn't much need for factory bracing.

My roll cage, a fairly basic 6pt with some cross bracing has the car so stiff I can lift three wheels with a jack at one corner.

Default Depends...you keeping the AC?

My race car was so hot, the tranny tunnel would burn the leg hairs off my right calf.

You're going to notice a very big heat difference without the insulation in the car. Mind you, I'm betting you'll still have the firewall insulation, which I do not have.

My guess is that you're going to want to wrap the exhaust as I have.

Just wait until winter...30sec after you shut it off, all the heat is gone.
