Default Choices for activating DRL's on imported B7 S4?

Dealer (Glenmore - Calgary) wants $650 - isn't it only a vag-com issue? Seems excessive to me.

I know some dealers may be trying to recoup lost revenue from U.S. imports - fair enough -but with the dollar today it's not so much that I'm getting a great deal; there's just so little selection in AB (or Canada for that matter). Going to the U.S. gives one so much more choice.

Haven't done a deal yet; but hope to do so soon!

For that price, buy the full Ross-Tech cable yourself; fix your DRL issue and be able to do future diagnostic and logging work as well. Roseland Technical Services sells the cable with free shipping. That's where I got mine from.

http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/roseland/VAG-COM.htm</a

Default There is a small ****/button on the dash that allows you to do it yourself

Very simple, and most importantly, very free.

But are you sure it is the right time to be buying from the US?

With the dollar tanking, it might not be worth it.

Ask the dealer in the US to do it at no charge - just make it a condition of purchase.

The button does not exist on all B7s... even across the same model year.

Default As folks below have mentioned - there is a ****. If not, call Tunedub, or other indie shop

We do it for $35-70, depending on how much VAGging you want to get into.

Cheers
