Cleaning Forge Diverter Valves...
Does anyone know exactly what type (brand name) of high temperature grease to buy when cleaning forge diverter valves. Also where to buy this. I know Canadian Tire has some high temp greases but i am not sure which one to get.
TIA

The Canadian Tire stuff is crap. i've used it....you'll need to lube your DV every 2 weeks. That stuff just doesn't last.

Super Lube

Super Lube with Syncolon (PTFE) is a multi-purpose lubricant, safe to use on anything that slides, swivels, rolls or squeaks. It withstands temperatures within a range of -45 degrees to 450 degrees F. Superlube aerosol contains a solvent that evaporates upon exposure to air. The film of lubricant remaining forms a non-toxic, anti-corrosive shield that prevents rust and is imprevious to salt water. Super Lube is a synthetic, heavy duty lubricant that is compatible with most other lubricants.
