Garage floor painting
FYI, the Pratt and Lambert epoxy needs to be ordered in, so plan at least a week in advance, not days in advance! Benjamin Moore might be able to bring it in, so better to check with them especially if there's one near by.
The muriatic acid, if the dude at CT can't find it, just go to customer service and have them do a look-up. Apparently it's no longer in the boating section... it's in the painting section (duh). I had to go out and pick up another 4L. Seems that a double car garage, 4L of this stuff can do 75% of the floor area. And yeah an acid respirator is a must!
Four hours later, it's all done... haven't seen that floor that clean ever. Now let it dry for a few days which should be more than enough, and throw on the paint this weekend!

Never really got a pic before the cleaning
Forgot about that after I started, but here's one after almost four hours of cleaning. Should be dry in a day, just wishing the rain would stop.

Sawcuts?
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/23847/max_steel_hoist.jpg"></center><p>Hi Mike,
Not sure of the age of the floor, but you might consider 1/3rd depth sawcuts to control unavoidable cracks in the concrete from moisture/temperature changes. I used flexible sealant in the sawcuts in my floor before I painted it (Rustoleum) and it's held up quite well.
Cheers!

Good idea, anyways, too late for that now!
