Default Let's just say it's an airbag issue. I'm pissed of with Audi of America and Audi Canada not the...

dealer. The service guy that I go to always treats me well. End of rant.

Default Sure...

I wrote a letter to AoA regarding my airbag light and I stated that I couldn't believe such an important item that is associate with the airbag can be defected in such short terms. Ok, I could understand if the part is being used from normal wear and tear but it's not. Why should I take the blame or responsibility that the fact that Audi can't provide reliable parts?

Man, now I'm even more pissed off...

Default Well, perhaps you were just unlucky

Compare that to a spun crankshaft bearing on day two!!!

Of course, after bitching and arguing to the service dept and recording the clicking noise (which came and went) they believed me and replaced the engine, picked up one month lease and the dealership replaced the entire car.

Sigh, the first A4 was noteably the fastest stock A4 I've driven and even one of the salesperson noticed that without me asking him.

In the end, there's always a failure rate with any component.

Default Love my Audi but it will be my last..

I have to agree. 2 months out of warranty my Air bag light came on as well, Audi just brushed me off. A month after that I had to spend a furtune to replace the control arms. Then the fog light plug, now the sway bar bushings oh and the plastic clips poped out of my fender wells, did I mention that one of my tinting mirrors just went defective?

I love the car though. So I plan on keeping it for a while since it's an investment now. I've just concluded my first year of ownership of it.

I also just finished installing the NAV plus in the car and just started adding the TV tuner so it's not going anywhere for a while....

Kind of a love hate thing.

Default at how unwilling their customer service people are....

to think outside their neat little box. they definitely do not try and go the distance for their customers.....not what I expected.
