I've read the article in quattro quarterly, and have browsed this site...
and now I'm a little confused. This whole oil specifications thing is pretty complicated. I don't understand why European manafacturers have different specs for North American market than Europe. And now I'm left wondering which specification is our 2.7t supposed to follow?
I've been using Mobil 1 0w30 in winter and 0w40 in summer. Car seems to run fine, but then it's way too early to tell if there's any damage caused by using this oil, I probably won't notice it for a long long time anyways.
