Default it's time to loose the weight

with a strict diet you should get down to 3192 lbs, plus minus shoes and clothes, just underwear and that should shave extra 10 lbs

Default Lots baby, lots!

AC system 40 to 50 lbs I'm told. Heating system may go too. When we remove the dash there is a lot of weight in there (structual to the dash). The radio, the climate control (?) The electrical system (wiring) is going to be cut down to a minimum. The ECU is going to be moved most likely inside the car. All the door are going to be trimmed/cut out, the hood will be cut too that is unless i can find a decent Carbon Fibre one at a good price. I still have to remove the front door panels with all the crap associated with it. Lexan on the rear side windows to start and perhaps the back one too. Then there are the other places we are looking at cutting removing weight from.

Time will tell.

Default Those guys VVV made all my nasty comments. Real questions: Have you improved

f/r distribution? Or did a greater proportion of the weight loss come at the back?
If so, how does it all balance out? i.e. you have a lighter car overall, but the balance % is worse.

Default Well at 61/39, I would have to say it is worse on paper but...

First I have to tell you these numbers except for the actual total weight are most likely not accurate. We took them down just as a fast reference. When I weighed it last night with the four digital scales the car or the scales were not levelled out. We really were just interested in the total weight of the car at this point. So it could/should be that the numbers were off.

This said I tracked the car for two days at Tremblant this weekend and it was an absolute blast to drive. The car was really fast and very predictable. It felt really really good despite having some not too good rear tires.

I could get the tail out in some corners but I could control the slide very easily. Believe me when I say this car does not drive like an Audi.

k04/rs6north studied (lol) me and my car on the track and he was impressed by the overall speed of the car on the track. I told me that when I was going through corners 1 and 2 (if you know Tremblant that's a ballsy corner) the car was ever so slightly drifting through them with a slip angle that he could see from the side of the track. Ho yes it was hairy!

I'm sure when all is done my front to rear ratio will be close to 55/45 and the cross weight will be 50/50.

Hopefully I can shave another 300 to 400 lbs! Now that would be awesome.

Take a few saunas before tracking, don't drink water.
