Even after nearly nine years I still have a grin on my face after driving the TT
Several years ago, I spent two days at the Mont-Tremblant circuit with the TT and I also drove the Tail of the Dragon during a TT-East event. There is no doubt that doing it in a TT was much more fun than doing it in an A4. I prefer the TTs steering feel and the fact that it is manual.
I have always believed that no matter how hard they try, a sports sedan will never entirely feel like a sports car. The ideal situation is to have both and every time you leave home, select the one you feel like driving on that occasion. If I could afford, it would probably be an R8/A8 tandem but a TT/A4 tandem is quite a bit of fun.

Agree, I drove a B8 A4 back to back with my MKI TT and I found it made my TT feel very raw and unrefined (but in a fun way), and the A4 very light/nimble/comfortable. Generally when using two cars regularly, I find I appreciate them both more, because you don't just get accustomed to a single feel.
