Not a happy customer...

I bet you he doesnt. I've had my car to four different dealerships on 6 occasions in 11 months...
all trying to fix the same thing. Over 30 days in the shop in 11 months. One week of it I had to pay out of pocket for a rental car.

Well, obviously this is one side of a story, but it is definitely disturbing to see a situation wher
where there is so much frustration with problems with the car. Having owned 2 VWs and 1 Audi, I have always had good luck with my cars and a pretty darn good dealer to keep them running proper. But I have friends who have had near-lemon VWs and Audis, so I know it happens. It is disturbing that when you are paying for a premium brand, the point at which Audi declares a lemon should be fairly reasonable. I would easily go back to Audi right now, but I certainly cannot afford to have my car in for repairs on any kind of regular basis. I have a one-car family (of four), so a car in the shop for me would lead to a lot of anger, especially if it was all coming out of my pocket and if the dealership could not really fix the problem. Maybe that means that I should not be in this brand (ie: do people in a premium brand require a back-up car?), but regular problems could and would lead me away from this brand. But I do think that the manufacturers should be protecting their brands by really trying to help people with the 'Friday 4:00' car.
As I first stated, this is also one side of the story. Maybe the dude driving the car is a total idiot who doesn't know how to take care of a vehicle. Dunno.
