OT: HD DVD vs. Blu Ray

Wrong.
The war is already over. Just as they did with VHS (which was the death knell for Beta), the **** industry has unanimously decided to go with HD DVD as their standard.

Don't get taken in by the "pr0n" argument
Things just don't work like they used to.
The recording media realm is a LOT different than it was in the days of VHS vs Betamax.
Considering most content will be (and already is) delivered over broadband and not by physical disc, the better/cheaper/fastest-to-market technology is going to win. (Which for the moment is Blu-Ray)
And this is how it should be.

using your own argument........
HD DVDs (the discs) are cheaper to produce.
And I had a HD DVD player long before I ever saw a Blue Ray player on store shelves, as well. Sony's only hope is their stake in the movie business (Paramount).

**** doesnt have much to do with if for two reasons
1.nobody buys **** dvds and more. (or nearly as much as they used to buy VHS)
2. not many people want to see Krystal Steels implant ripples in that much definition. Kind of ruins it a little.
