About the wireless, you said if you not front of you camera, that doesn't work right ???
So I need buy the cordless to be sure is work properly if I want mount the camera on my car ??

Not sure, I use the wired remote
Adidt also makes a wireless remote and reviews are very positing on the Canon dpreview forum. It's not bad price either, I think something like $75US and not sure if it's infared or RF.
